I recently discovered that I actually like Summer.
Long story short, my detestation of 90 degree temperatures in Texas, and years of not loving my body in swimsuits, shorts, and tank tops made me think I HATED Summer. Now that I have learned to love my body even on the hard days and tell it kind things, my perspective has shifted and now I am jazzed about Summer. Acting like a kid
My husband and I bought a small inflatable pool for our backyard and its been so worth it. That, and body boarding in Hawaii brought out all my kid energy and I am happy to report it’s taking over some other areas of my life too. Hello, sticky watermelon hands, chasing fireflies, and jumping off rope swings into a river.

I love having folks over to eat good food, listen to good music, and fill the backyard with laughter.

Matching workout sets
In the Summer, workouts for me consist of early morning runs, Saturday morning basketball games, and daily Youtube dance workouts. I love this matching workout set by Reprise for all of those activities!
